I ordered a sample after seeing an ad on-line for Perfect Radiance cream where I paid £2.95 for this sample. Since then they have taken £74.95 on 13 October, £51.00 on 24 October, £74.95 on 2 November and £51.00 on 17 November. I have received a further bottle the same size as the sample received. As there was no paperwork received with original sample I was surprised that further monies were taken from my account.

  • I have since got their phone no. (0808) 168 3684 (according to BT this is a free phone no) and have since called them. Spoke to a lady named Kim who was helpful. Told me the t & c's of the trial are that they send you out more product charging in advance. Asked why they had charged twice but sent no product. Was then told that the product had been despatched and should arrive shortly. I advised her that I wished to cancel and wanted a full refund of £251.90 as I would still pay the £2.95 charge for the sample. She tried to negotiate some free product and they keep my money which would then not be "FREE", then she tried to get me to agree to a 50% refund but I stood my ground and told her I wanted a full refund and I would return the product. She then agreed and I was given the address details to return product to once it arrives and I had then to phone her with the tracking no. and once the products were returned I will be given my full refund. Will keep you posted.

    I just spoke to Lesley who has given me for numbers which she says are the refund numbers for all of the money taken from my account. She says that the money will be refunded in 7to 10 working days. We will see!!

    Yes - all mine is back in my account too. I just hope other people who find themselves in our situation are able to argue their case. I bet plenty of people don't - I was certainly grateful I saw your comments. Thank you so much.

  • Maggie and Kate great to hear you have had a refund. Can you please pass me on the return address that they gave you. I keep phoning the customer service line and dont get a response now it just keeps ringing.

    Hope you are successful. I got a letter from my credit card company only yesterday to confirm the money has been returned so it does work!! and I owe it all to you Kate - without seeing what you had done and said I would probably not have challenged them so much and maybe only got half the money back. Thanks again!! I certainly won't be falling for any more of these scams - once bitten twice shy and I'm letting all my friends know too!

  • Hi All,

    I have just hung up the phone with Barclay's and they were VERY helpful. And thanks to all of you, I only got hit for 75 quid before taking action.

    The lady at Barclay's said she is getting 3 or 4 calls a day about this company - AND because they advertised on Facebook - even Facebook has them under investigation as well as the Serious Fraud Office!

    So I guess I am saying get your refunds NOW before they go out of business!

    Also the helpful person also told me to contact Consumer Direct - London number 0208 181 8956 (although if you are outside of London visit their site for your local number) as she said the more people who file complaints against these fraudsters the better the case against them.

    Good luck all, and thank you for alerting me to their deceit before I got stung for more money than I can afford! (Not that I can afford the 75 but at least you alerted me before it ran into the hundreds! )

  • I have also been scammed for £150, i only realized this when a second parcel came with eye cream that i didn't order, i checked the website to see if it was maybe another free trial. what a div i am!! i looked up revitalize health & and beauty and to my horror realized it was a scam. these comments have made me feel better in the hope of getting my money back??

  • I havn't been billed yet but i tried phoning the no on the letter head to tell them i didnt want them to send me anymore and the no is not in use now,so i have no way of letting them know i dont want anymore products

  • I had £79.99 taken from my bank account, I rang my bank and the fraud squad took it on, I then rang the Consumer number from an earlier post who took the address and phone number of the company and two days later the money was back in my account. I returned the trial products and received an email from Revitalize to say he accounrt was closed. Whew, scarey moments though!!
