I noticed today a unexpected charge of $287.95 from BANKCARD-8001 MTOT DISC. I called my bank and asked for more information about this company, but unfortunately, Bank of America did not know anything more than I could see on my statement. They told me though that this charge was not the first one from Bankcard-8001. Shockingly, I found out that they started charging me in October 2016 every month. In the first six months, the charge was $40.00 monthly. In April 2017, they charged me $241.95 and the next 10 months $64.95 per month. Last month, they charged me $93.95, and this month $287.95
I cannot believe it how come I hadn't noticed these charges earlier. The only explanation I can think of is that there were a lot of transactions, and due to the loss of my husband and extended travelling I got overwhelmed, and they slipped my attention. Is there anyway to get my money back?
