This company (Vsupport LLC, aka ITassists.com) somehow installed a program on my computer, so that the Microsoft Office suite would not install properly. The pop-up said to call the following number to finish installation. (844) 307-1804. I thought I was calling Microsoft. Once they had me on the line, they told me my BRAND NEW computer was infected with a Trojan infection, and that I needed to pay them $150.00 to resolve the problems and continue the installation. I suspected this was a scam because how/why would their number pop up on my screen, when this is a vendor I have never heard of nor done business with? I then took the computer back to BestBuy, and they told me they installed some sort of browser program which caused the installation to stop, and it popped up their phone number. The problem was resolved with a hard-boot reset of the browser. HOWEVER, during the diagnosis, they remotely connected to my computer and asked me for the 25 digit license key which I provided. BestBuy told me this key is now null and void, and essentially Vsupport STOLE this license key from me. To BestBuy's credit, they issued me a new license at their expense. Vsupport are a bunch of Scammers!
