I have been buying my appliances at Sears for years, I am so dissapointed and frustrated by how I was recently treated by the warranty service. I bought a top of the line Kenmore refrigerator in 2015 and had a extended warranty until 10/25/17. After having numerous problems with the refrigerator (ice in cooling department, cracked shelves, unnatural expansion, creaking doors, rust, etc) and having two repairman out I was told by the most recent technician that the refrigerator would be too expensive to fix and that it should be replaced. After that I never heard from Sears. I called the warranty department nine times. Yes NINE times over a three week period and NEVER got a resolution. I spoke with NINE different people and every time I called they said a supervisor would call me back but I got nothing. What's worse, each time I called they would tranfer me around and act like it was the first time I called. I have a log with the name of every person I spoke with along with the date and time. I have wasted some much time with this and now I am so frustrated and disappointed that I will NEVER buy a appliance or shop at Sears again. It is a shame what this American icon has turned into. You should be ashamed of yourself. It used to be buying a appliance at Sears meant that they would stand by their products, now I am just so disappointed. My next stop is the BBB and RipOffReports. Hopefully I can prevent others from shopping at Sears and making the same mistake
