I thought I was booking with the America's Best Value Inn Reservation Desk. The woman barely spoke English and tried to book me for the wrong dates to make it non cancellable but I caught it and corrected it. She said she would send a confirmatory email but did not. I called back and found out they are a scam outfit. When I demanded my $14.95 'booking fee' which they had already charged me back the person who also barely spoke English got nasty with me and when I demanded to speak to a supervisor hung up on me. I called back, got a supervisor, told them they are a scam outfit and demanded my money refunded and a confirmation by email. I am sorry I gave them my payment information--now I'm afraid of bogus charges that will be a pain to get removed if I even can. Google should NOT have them come up as a result for ANY hotel (from other complaints I guess they do this for many chains) and the hotels should be made aware so THEY complain. This is ridiculous. These people need to be forced out of business!
