B&N has implemented a website for ordering books. The website process orders but does not render a confirmation.. yet, a VISA card charge is immediately posted to your account. No delivery was ever made, no confirmation of order ever sent. Their order system is based upon a order number... since no such order number is provided one cannot resolve a non-delivery issue... yet no way to resolve since all such action require a order number.. very clever implementation... thus "scam" is implied as buyers have no way of proving an error on their part was/is made. But it was posted by them to my VISA account. Unfortunately, B&N provides no access to resolve such a charge as no confirming emails are sent out. Item billed, sale never processed, item never received. Obviously, B&N has a deliberately implemented a business model based upon: "For every customer lost, 5 new ones appear so why bother with customer complaints" Their revenue stream is thus based upon an automated fraudulent e-commerce implementation.
