I travelled to thailand last year. I had a really good time with the food and shopping. It's a really lovely place. When we were in the hotel, there were free mints in a bowl which were freshened every day, all flavors. After two weeks, I got so addicted I had to have a handful everywhere I went! My bad, I guess.
I asked around and after a while actually managed to find the manufacturer, right there in Sukhimvit. So before we left, I got a few boxes.
I had them at work, home everywhere after I got home.
I was also beginning to develop tummy aches and cramps. Eventually I went to see the family doctor and he figured out there was an additive in the mint that was causing the sickness.
I stopped immediately and the pain went away.
the doctor told me it was affecting my liver!
I'd like to warn everyone, if you ever go to Thailand, avoid this product, please, if you value your health. Here's my report on it.
