On Dec. 2, 2016, online car history search let me to [email protected]. The page said $1 for 1 report, and about $7.95 for 10 reports. So I ordered just 1 report and it said the charge was $1.
But on Dec.5, 2016 my debit card was deducted $1/- instead by vinrecordscheck.com and $18.95 by cardatausa.com, both of whom I did not subscribe or order reports.
Again on Jan.3, 2017 my same debit card was again deducted $18.95 by cardatausa.com. I checked in Jan. and thought it was a purchase through Amazon.
While I was away, my same debit card was again deducted $18.95 on Feb. 2, 2017 by cardataonline.com which I did not subscribe or order reports.
On March 6, 2017 my same debit card was again deducted $18.95 by carhistorystore.com.
Normally I checked my debit card transactions about 3 months intervals as I do not many transactions.
When I checked this morning, I was shocked there was so many unauthorised deductions.
So it could be seen that the many deductions are probably done by the same company which have my debit card details.
So what could be done to recover the monetary damages and prevent similiar ripoffs?
