My Canon printer needed fixing. Found "Canon Technical support" on line. They said my computer was infected that is why my scanner would not work. Wanted $299 to fix scanner and take all viruses off my computer and add a firewall that I did not have. Like a complete idiot, I paid. They did fix my scanner, but I worried ever since. Went to a legitimate tech support and they took off all of the infections and the link the company STILL had to my computer. Also found out I did not need a firewall. Windows 10 comes with one. WefixLLc, of course, refused to give me my money back. Expensive lesson.
