We came in for a seminar for camping and RV vacation packages. The entire presentation quickly shifted to a sales presentation for a lifetime one time fee vacation deal package. After the presentation where the salesman presented the company as an "alternative to the time share scams out there", we were lead to believe that we could buy into this great oppertunity "today only". The promise given to us was that we would be able to use this "one time fee membership for a lifetime of vacation discounts with no annual or maintenance fees". What we received was a limited two year membership to a discount program that actually costs $299 more per year to be a part of. The entire sales presentation was presented as a lifetime investment, that would only pay you back over the years..." and that is not a problem, because you are a member for life with no more cost to you". I have tried to make contact with both Ocean Canyon Properties, and ICE ( the tie in company that actually carries all the products and services promised in the sales promotion) and have only gotten passed from one contact to the next. The company brags about their commitment to customer service and their A+ BBB rating. But, I can not find anyone in customer support that even believes that their salesmen are promising these things. They had an F rating with the BBB before being revoked months ago, and the product and services are in no way remotely close to what the salesmen are bringing to the table. I was looking for a cheaper way to enjoy my vacation time, now I have no savings left to go on vacation, and a lifetime commitment to pay them more fees just to dream about getting away.
