This complaint has been sent to Mojang, Since then I've still got no response. Wondering if they even care about their customers.

On 02/09/2017 I wanted to play Minecraft for a couple of hours, but noticed I couldn't startup a single one of my profiles. Then I noticed all of my game folders were gone, which I've placed in my own made folder "Game".

I can see why it is easy to just rmdir() the 'game' folder, but this procedure can cause big trouble. If for instance I've placed all of my games or a big project I'm working on in a folder called 'game' and I placed your launcher next to it, it will simply remove all of my files without any warning. It is known as best practices within the installer/uninstaller area to only remove the files you've placed/installed yourself.

The above example did happen, we've lost all of our work that we've done last couple of months and couldn't retrieve them properly because they got overwritten and corrupted. Since we are also growing our YouTube channel (related to Minecraft) this has hit us hard and made us quite angry and sad.

I hope you'll at least change this uninstalling method to prevent more people/customers losing their data and we would like to hear if you'll be doing so. For our own loss we can not think of something that will undo the damage, sadly.
