I apparently ordered a watch for $5.99 as a "sample" and introduction to the watch line. I did not note any "trial time" or 14 day limitation to cancel the transaction. I put the watch on a shelf and forgot about it. In checking my credit card account I find a charge for $98.00. I did not know for what, and called. I was then informed about the "disclosure" and that I was enrolled in a month program that would cost me similar amounts. This misleading and criminal deception should put these bandits out of business and in jail. I should note the the original offer of a watch for $5.99 did not give the buyer a choice of model but was at the discretion of the company, further suggesting that this was a sampler or 'teaser' intro to their watch line. I am livid that I was misled, tricked and committed to something that I never would have permitted to occur. I plan to complain to the Attorney General of my state and the proper federal department.
