A person hacked into my computer and froze the screen, put up a phone number to call to fix it. When I called, I asked if they were "Apple Support", they said "yes". This was a gentleman from India. I made a bad choice, thinking they were Apple, and let him into my computer. He claimed he found many viruses and would I want to remove them, then my screen would be unlocked. I said yes and gave him a CC number. Chase will not reverse this charge because I gave it to him, he did not "hack it".....but he did hack into my computer and claim he was from "Apple". When done he claimed he removed many viruses. He left with my firewall unlocked. I immediately realized I had been scammed and called and installed a genuine Apple virus protector, closed my firewall, contacted Chase to reverse the charges.
DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS TYPE OF HACK.
