I ordered a sample of two beauty products for which I was supposed to be charged $4.95 for shipment only. After some 10 days, I received the two products via Canada Post Expedited Parcel, without any bill in the package. I had a surprise when I received my credit card monthly statement of December 2016 showing a charge of $89.95 for the first product and $84.95 for the second one. I paid the credit card company, since I had started using the products, but being sure there was something wrong with this order. However, on the 23rd of January 2017, I received another shipment of the same products. I immediately check my credit card statement and found that I was billed for $98.79 and $104,00 for the same products. I immediately phoned the number 800-759-8620 and spoke to someone who told me that this order was recurring monthly because I had to cancel whiten 14 days upon reception of the first parcel. I was not aware of that and the person I spoke to told me that this was written in the advertisement, in small characters of course,
and I had not taken time to read it. I ask them to cancel my account and they offered me a rebate of 25% on the second shipment, which I accepted to put an end to this racket. The rebate should appear on my statement in the next 3-4 days, and be sure I will watch seriously. To conclude, I assume that this a fraud and I want to report it.
