Tried to install AVG Internet security, got so far then error message came up need to phone number provided thinking it was AVG tech support but no it was vsupportll. I was told that it could be a virus and asked to take over my computer. I said I shouldn't have a virus as I have used AVG for many years without any problems. They run my computer through a complete scan and told me I had viruses and 656 trogens, and they had infected my IP adress and that it would cost me £249 to get it fixed. I said I can't afford to pay that kind of money, the agent asked if I was retired and I said yes, he then said he would try to sort something out he left me on hold for a couple of minuets came back and said as you are retired I will only charge you £169.95 plus I will give you 4 years extra AVG and 6 months tech support. In the end I agreed and he took over the computer again it took about 2 hours and I noticed they went into my office suite I thought that's strange that has nothing to do with trogens and viruses. I Began to panic when they had finished they had installed their own software on the computer when I spoke to the agent about my concerns he told me not to worry that I had tech support for 6 months. When we finished talking and put the phone down I tried my computer and it didn't work so I phoned them again and another agent answered and I explained what was wrong he wanted to charge me another £149 to fix it at last the penny dropped I had been scammed he wanted to carry out another go on my computer and I said no and put the phone down. At 7.30 am the next day Vsupportllc phoned me and asked if my computer was working and I said no he said let me try and fix it I said no again and wanted a refund he kept asking me to repair the computer so I put the phone down and I ideally he phoned me back I tried to shut the phone off but the hang up button wouldn't work and it kept ringing and ringing so I pulled the plug out of the socket I left it for about half an hour and then I phoned their customer service I told them I wanted a refund or I would put the matter in my credit card company's hands he kept on again not listening to me so I shouted at him I want a refund he eventually said that customer services would be in touch with in 24 hours ,they have just phoned me to say that the money hasn't been taken out yet and they will cancel the credit card and confirm with an email if I would take off the comments I left on their Facebook page I'm still waiting for that email I will let you know if I receive the refund ???
