I like the other was contacted the same way. I was emailed by Apikan a week or so ago telling me the same thing, that I was recommended to them by HR or something and said they wanted to hire me to post jobs on job sites. Sounded easy enough, though I did feel like I was being scammed, but I gave it a shot because they weren't asking me for any money, and I've applied to so many random jobs in the past I could have easily forgotten about this one.

Before anything else, I went online and Googled the company name plus the word "scam", and found nothing. Plus their company website looked legit with many pages of info, testimonials, pricing packages, so I went ahead with what they wanted. I signed a contract and sent them a picture of my license, which is apparently a big OOPS on my part in hindsight.

Then they asked me to post one job to Indeed as a test run. Which I did, though they wanted the contact person to be my name, which I thought was weird. I even looked up the name of the company I was making the job ad for and it was legit too. Yet I still felt something was off.

Next, they e-transferred money to me for me to take out and buy Bitcoins with. Which is where it really started to feel weird. Why do they need Bitcoin to post ads on job sites?

It was after this that I Googled their name+scam again, and a Ripoff Report came up, plus these new reports on Scam Book, neither of which were online last week when I first researched it.

So now I'm very worried as I've gotten involved and gave them pictures of my driver's license. I Googled the person I've been in contact with, April Boling, and only found someone in San Diego, while this company appears to be in Ontario.

I don't really know what to do now, I even sent them the link to the ripoff report and they just said don't believe it, but it's pretty hard to ignore now. I'm at a loss at what to do now, but they think I'm still involved and going to deposit the money for the Bitcoin. Now they're constantly calling and emailing me asking what's happening.

STAY AWAY!
