I have been rung at least 20 times over the past three months by a Baycorp operator wanting to discuss 'a personal matter'. She refuses to tell me what this 'matter' is unless I give her my date of birth, which I have refused to do on account of concerns regrding identity theft. One time I said, since she knew my phone number and apparently my address, that if they had a matter to raise they should write to me detailing the problem. I received an atrociously formatted letter a week later, listing no problem, but giving me a number to ring. I rang this number, to again be told I must supply my date of birth. I refused and we again got nowhere.
I understand that BayCorp is a debt collection agency. I owe no one any money, so these continual phone calls represent an unwanted harassment. I don't know how to call the dogs off.
