I ordered flowers to be delivered to my friend in Canada. I called Bloomex from London, UK, where I live. I was charged 60 dollars (a 40 dollar bouquet + 15 dollar delivery + taxes) Delivery was meant to be Dec 13th, but nothing arrived. I contacted them and they promised to 're-send' after admitting they had sent to wrong address. Initially they said they'd "left the bouquet at Reception" but when I pointed out the address is clearly a single-family home with no reception, and proved it by telling them to check Google Map StreetView, they said they would re-send a 'bigger, fresher' bouquet to make up for the inconvenience. Again, no delivery. I continued to chase them for a refund, which they refuse to do. Latest offer is for a store voucher for 40 canadian dollars. But they charged my UK card in US dollars, and I don't see why I should pay the difference and also pay the taxes and delivery fee for a bouquet that was NEVER delivered.
