I looked online for PDF software and saw a list of Upclick services including US$11.95 for a 1-click PDF. I checked only the line for this service, added my VISA card. The web site immediately charged my account without providing a list of the purchase for confirmation and charged me US$70.70. It seems it automatically charged me for all the products listed on the page. The receipt I received said "money back guarantee" and a toll-free number which I immediately called and explained the problem asking for a credit for the services I did not want to purchase. The person answering indicated the 1-click PDF service was only available if I purchased another item. I asked her to credit my entire purchase. She refused saying they could only refund 40% of the purchase. After considerable time on the phone, and no relief despite the fact that the invoice shows a money back guarantee, I did not download the programs or use them in any way, finally I hung up with the intention of alerting the Montreal Better Business Bureau. This is an online scam and they should be closed down!
