I was asked to complete a Macy's survey and told I would receive a free gift. The gift selected was a watch. I was then told to pay shipping of 5.99. I did and received the watch. Later my credit card was charged $98 for a watch that looked to be worth no more than $5.99. When I contacted customer service, they claimed that I was informed of a trial membership that expired in 14 days after my survey was completed. I was never informed of any membership or additional charges. I insisted they refund my $98, cancel any membership and I reported them to the fraud dept. of my charge card.
