Got a letter today from this company that stated I had unclaimed property in CA. They asked me to send them a check for $46.95. In return I would get a claim form from them.
I already claimed the money years ago, and the only think I had to do was to go to the State Contoller's office of California website and claim my property. There was no fee for that, just had to fill out some information.
This company tries to rip people off. I am surprised that they can get away with this. I hope more people get aware of this scam.
