The above mentioned company has closed my account when I upgraded my service to U-verse. I had to go thru the hassle of opening a new account. I gave them my credit card # and I asked the agent to put me on automatic payment, like I was before. I got a letter telling me there is an outstanding balance from the old account of. I called and asked to put ALL balances on the same credit card. Now I have another balance of $26.00 from the "old" account. I called repeatedly to have this balance put on my credit card. However the persons that I called are so unprofessional that that this balance ended up at a collection agency. It ruined my credit score. I am really frustrated that this matter is not solved since August of 2016. Every time I call I have to wait and waste time talking to somebody that cannot solve the matter anyway. I have been with ATT for many years but their customer service has deteriorated lately.
