On 2-September I completed trial offer form on internet for 30 day supply of rapid wrinkle control ( web address https://abellamayfair.com/11/?AFFID=CFD32E06&CID=169&AFID=1016&click_id=102c774828a3cceea0bbe348c7a6a6&SID=1653&C1=fine&C2=wJJL2H0H438CC310193BRRDC&C3=&C4=111037750).

Before giving my credit card details I saw message "Just pay a small shipping fee. Enjoy your expedited delivery to OTTAWA, ON ." The cost was $3.95. I completed credit card information and clicked on "complete check out".

Product was received a few weeks later.

On 26-Sep I noticed two charges on my credit card,
2-Sep $5.30 SkinHealth18885893845 CAMBRIDGE 000 and
17Sep $153.35 SkinHealth18885893845 CAMBRIDGE 000

Subsequently I called 1-888-859-9345 (agent Aveon) and later 1-250-483-7496 (Agent Byron) to have second charge cancelled as I only approved the shipping of a free trial.

Both agents said the terms and conditions on their website apply - the 2nd charge was for the product shipped and no refunds will be made after 14 days. Both offered a partial refund ($40US then $50US).

I said I wanted the full refund as there was no mention of terms at any point before I provided the credit card information for the shipping charges. I was told I should have looked for terms which is on the bottom of the webpage past where I completed the credit card information.

The terms and conditions at (http://abellamayfair.com/terms/)take two pages. I told the agent that we would not have ordered the risk free trail offer if we had seen the terms for a monthly subscription costing $155 CDN a month, no matter how good they claimed their product to be.

I accepted the $50US as a payment against what they owed me for having such a dishonest and deceptive website order process and told them I would complain to the Better Business Bureau and make a complaint to internet complaint websites.
