International boundaries
ordered sunglasses from a UK site in GBP. Only hint of non-UK stuff was "(shipping to GB)" in small-print beside the delivery charge (£5.97 DHL).
Email mentioned exchange rate might affect price charged to the account but I didn't read the email, after all it was just confirmation of paying £25.86 (£19.90 + £5.97) as far as I was concerned.
No further emails about dispatch etc, I even questioned whether I'd ordered them.
A week later I see a payment I don't recognise, $37 to yqpremium2sale, plus two bank charges. I call the bank and start a fraud case before I remember the sunglasses...so they said wait 15 days for delivery before taking it further.
Yesterday I received a different pair of sunglasses from China, so I'll be getting back in touch with the bank and making sure I get a refund.
