We had asked the company to cancel delivery as we were not ready for the product. The order was delivered, even though it was on the delivery drivers paperwork "Do Not Deliver." I was told by the shipper, if I did not receive the product, it would never be delivered to me again that I would have to go and pick it up.
When we cancelled the order entirely, we were told that we had to pay the shipping, even thought it was their mistake. We were told at the time of ordering, there would be no problem, returning the product. However, after many phone calls and delays on their part, they finally agreed to credit the card, but minus the delivery cost and 5% re-stocking fee. When a customer is told that they would receive a phone call back to let them know that it was credited, it should be done. It only got done after we repeatedly called as they did not return the call as promised. Terrible customer relations and bad business practices. My mother is 86 years old...this was very difficult situation for her, as it was her card. Elderly abuse, maybe?
