Their internet speeds are nearly the worst in the nation, I found a site that lists speeds by town and they were 5861 out of 5890 and that is when their internet is actually working. They have always been fairly lousy and unreliable, often the internet cuts out and stays out much of the day on the weekends. But this year, their service has become utterly unreliable most of the time, whole weekends go by when you cannot stay online for even 1 hour at a time. 2 sundays back I watched the connection go offline and be restored every few minutes for the entire afternoon. And it happens more and more during the weekdays as well. During the morning it has become standard that I can't browse my news sites because the connection is down.

No matter the day or time, you can rely on Yelcot's internet to not be functional more often than you will see it working. I play online games, but not for weeks now because I can't stay on them for as long as 1 hour no matter what time I try to play. Mostly I can't stay in an online game for more than 15-20 minutes. 2 days ago, I tried to speak to a friend on skype, I didn't even get 30 seconds. I was literally bitching about how much yelcot sucks when the internet cut out. While attempting to converse over the next hour, it cut out half a dozen times before we gave up.

They are so routinely non-functional they should be refunding all us customers at least half our money each month, because we are absolutely not getting what we are paying for.
