International boundaries

In January of 2016, I hired Interstate Asphalt to lay an asphalt driveway at my newly constructed home. The job was completed in January but within weeks I began to see large cracks. At first, I was not very concerned since I had two year warranty. I quickly became concerned after several ignored attempts to contact Interstate. I called repeatedly for 2-3 weeks. They finally came to the property and attempted to repair the driveway. Again, within a matter of weeks the cracks came back and began to get worse. I contacted Interstate again and they tried again, with the same failed result. At this point, I was offered a $3,000.00 refund and I agreed but was never reimbursed. At the time I agreed to the reimbursement, I believed $3,000.00 would cover my cost of repairing the driveway properly. Now the cracks are so bad that even if I had received $3,000.00 back, it would not be enough to have it properly repaired. To this day, I have not been reimbursed and cannot get Interstate back to my property to honor the two year warranty.
When the salesman sold me my new driveway, he told me that it would be a minimum of 3” thick, which I thought was thin to begin with. After the cracks started to appear, I could see that most of my driveway was only ½ to ¾” thick! Hence, the cracking and pot holes that I now have to live with. These guys are CROOKS! I’m sure they were able to do 2 driveways with the materials they were supposed to use on my driveway!
They did not honor the warranty or the agreement to reimburse me and this experience has been a nightmare. The driveway was the final part to my new home and it is now beyond repair. Please beware of this company and help spread my experience to help prevent them from taking advantage of other unsuspecting homeowners.
