The old dell scam with a twist.
Purchased a dell pc in July of 2015.
Scammer states he is with dell and I am sending out viruses. They are convincing since they know all my info;
My name
My phones numbers
My new PC service tag number (that's like winning a lottery)
Dell has no place to complain to and is keeping they have either a data breach or more likely that our info has been sold by an internal employee. call originates from India
They called my cell twice and home line 14 times on August 18, 2016
I have researched and there is documented information that there has been a breach of some sort. Thanks Dell for risking my information out there and not telling me!
Any legal firms out there want to pressure Dell with a class action? You will have plenty of persons whose personal info was compromised.
