I had previously done business with Springs Techno Solutions but felt uneasy about their promise of lifetime service" agreement for computer assistance. I asked to cancel the service but was told I was three weeks too late but they'd refund $400.00 of my almost $1000.00
payment. My credit card company was able to get my money back. About one month later, I received a cold call from "Jerry Wilson" warning me of thousands of errors and warnings on my computer and it was about to crash. For $299.00 he offered to remove all of the errors and warnings and save my computer. He insisted he could not take my credit card and needed my bank information. We disagreed about providing my bank information but he convinced me it was the same as writing a check." At a later date, my Cox technician told me something was put on my computer to make it look like my computer was in trouble. I closed my checking account so he couldn't take any more money. I opened a new checking account making the necessary changed for deposits and automatic payments. I received a letter on Friday showing I have a zero balance in my bank account. None of my payments have been made. My bank is investigating the situation. I cannot say Jerry Wilson of Springs Techno Solutions stole my money but I have absolutely no idea where it went.
