I also had a similar encounter with the guy with this phone number. I was looking for movers on kijiji and that's how I called him. He said his name was Robin and he works for a company called "The Moving Company". Compared to other companies, he gave me a better quote so I hired him for moving my 1br apartment. Quote agreed was $200 including tax. On the day of moving, two shady guys showed up and asked for an advance of $300 to even start work. They said they charge extra for "heavy" items, fuel charge would be extra and 20% service charge on top. It was our moving day and I had no other option so I had to agree. They started working slowly, took as long as they could and then loaded the truck. After loading, they handed me a bill of $900 and they said that needs to be paid and without the payment they will not move. I called the Robin guy and he declined that I had agreed to any quote for $200 and asked me to call his supervisor "Michael" at 416-565-9303. They denied everything and only reduced $100 from the total bill. I had to pay them since everything was already loaded. This wasn't the worse. We reached our new place, the guys unloaded everything in the lobby of the building and just vanished. Robin or Michael didn't pick any calls after that and me and my wife had to move everything on our own. After a couple of days, we called "Robin" again pretending to be a new client and this time he introduced himself as "Andrew" and changed the company's name again. Everyone involved are thugs and frauds. Beware!!
