I received a called from 1787878. The caller stated that I had been chosen to receive a grant of $8000.00. I was chosen because I paid my taxes, had no criminal background and is a u.s citizen. He went on to give me a money confirmation number and a call back number 202-643-9049 (Kathleen Harris). Kathleen told me that I needed to purchase an iTune gift card and load it with $250.00 that would not be used to pay anything, but the alpha/numeric code is needed in order for the FB to give me my money via western union. She wanted me to go to Walgreen or RiteAid to purchase the card then call her during the transaction so that I could give her the number. I told her that the internet is saying this this is a scam and the call was disconnected. She called right back and said that she was transferring me to the Federal Bank. Alex Reid picks up and say that he is with the Federal Bank Reserves of America in Washington. I asked him why wouldn't the Federal Bank send me a cashiers check and he sdaid that would be too much... I told him that it was a scam and he said that he would e-mail me something to show proof but i never received it.
