I got a call from these individuals offering me 2 6 day/5 night stays at all inclusive resorts, and one 8/7 cruise for I believe $999. I asked if I could talk to my wife and call them back. They said no, if I hung up, they would go to the next person. So I hung up while I was talking to give the impression of a disconnection. They called back and left a message on voicemail (which I still have) dropping the price to $700. I thought this is too good to be true, but called back and agreed to the price thinking I'd just try to book a vacation that same day, and if it looks shady, call the cc company and cancel the charge.
To this day, they have never charged my CC. They told me they could not charge my card because their Credit Card machines were down. Apparently they are still down 6 weeks later. I've called back several times, and keep getting the same girl, who keeps saying the machines are down, and seems irritated that I keep calling ( I think she recognizes my voice now).
However, one of the managers who left the voicemail said the machines were working a few weeks ago. So something is real shady here. But no charges have been made to my card.
