This person listed an iPhone 6s on a third party auction site on April 20, 2016. The site allows the seller to determine their own auction type and terms for their auction. This person selected the classic auction style without a starting bid. The set the auction to last 2weeks with credit card as accepted payment form with Fedex 2 day shipping available. I placed a bid of $1.25 USD. I never really thought I would win the auction with $1.25 bid but I did. And that's where the nightmare began. The auction site sent an email notifying me of winning the auction also stating they recommend making contact with the seller so I did and included that I have a credit card on file and a verified address with the auction site. First the seller asks how many units I wanted which I found very odd since it was a one item auction that he set all the parameters of. I politely replaced stating I was only interested in the one item that I won and asked about all shipping options. He then emailed me saying they do not take credit cards, only money wire and stated he needed my name, address and phone number so he could give me payment details. By this time I looked up the business he listed in his auction profile. electoys.com there is a web domain under that .com address but the physical address listed for the business is a motel. Since then he has emailed many times attempting to get me to pay $350 by money wire for a phone that the winning bid was $1.25. He contradicts himself from one email to the next and all the while I have screenshots showing the auction terms and copies of every email up to the one that he had the nerve to try to threaten me in. I have researched this person online as an individual and also as a business. He has lots of other ads very similar and sites from USA to Kuwait and Pakistan that apoears he has unsuspecting people wire money to these places then launders it. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureou and the Federal Trade Commission. I would like to learn how to create a blog that if anyone searches his name or business name red flags will pop up before he takes anymore innocent people for granted.
