Received same type of call. Agent promised 2 vacations for roughly $600+tax. When I was reluctant to commit, the agent threw in a third vacation. When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. The agent made it seem as though he was a part of Marriott properties. After speaking with Marriott and was told that they do not make cold calls selling their property, I immediately thought it was a scam. I called my credit card company to report the incident. Luckily the transaction was on hold because it "appeared" fraudulent. I immediately told my credit card company that it was fraudulent and they immediately closed that card and sent out me a new one. I'm still receiving communication from them asking me to sign the credit card authorization. I have not communicated with them at all since the incident.
