Was called by this company 10 minutes after checking in to a Marriott saying they were with Marriott rewards. Offered a free night to listen to their pitch. We listened. Asked multiple times and again they confirmed they were with Marriott. Marriott says they are not but the number we used for marriott is the one they called us on and only family and friends have that number so makes me think someone at Marriott is involved somehow. We listened to their pitch. We're interested and said ok. We were out the door to meet friends and the guy said if the credit card didn't go through then we would have to let the credit card people know it's ok. I told him if it didn't go through don't bother we are meeting friends and I was done talking. It didn't go through so I said fine and he kept pusung so I hung up on him. Found out a couple days later it did go through. I told the company I didn't want it and wanted my credit card credited. They said I had to sign a paper saying I oked the transaction before they could procede. Its gone off a cliff since then with all new requirements. Was told I lost my package because I didn't return the signature sheet in 24 hours but couldn't get a refund.
