Comcast's arbitrary change to increase existing contract terms of contract including the purchase or rental of equipment for high definition tv service offered free with initial purchase of various premier packages. No mention ever made that services or equipment would result in any additional costs to include payment for HD at any later time when initial services were purchased as offered by Comcast. Comcast is now saying that such service was never included with the current subscription even though it was being provided without any interruption or explanation or any charge from the very inception of service being provided until Comcast decided to charge the additional fee for the services already being provided stating that it could be purchased at an additional option , if elected. Their reasoning, it was an error on their part. They forget one important fact, there is a contract that was entered into by them and they are a responsible party to uphold that contract. I feel that there should be protection afforded the consu,mer in this instance as this is no small matter in dollars involved here as it impacts on a National level class action against Comcast.
