On 6-8-16 I took my Dodge Challenger to get a quote on hail damage repair and paint job. I was given a quote and accepted it and signed the paperwork. I was told it would be about 10 days for completion. I dropped off the car on 6-13-16. On 6-22-16 I get a phone telling me the damage was too much and for me to pick up the car. I explained to the owner that I walked with him the day he gave me the quote and he notated all the damage and now 10 days later he is telling me he cant do the job. he told me "well you didn't lose nothing" and I told him yes I did. I lost 10 days without a vehicle and having to work around my schedule since I work out of town. he told me they were not going to do the job and to pick up the car. I tried to explain to him that its not fair especially waiting 10 days later to tell me this. How can this not be a breach of contract? if it would have been me trying to back out I would have had to pay the consequences, why are they not liable?
