A person came to my door presenting themselves as a National Grid supplier and told me they needed my account number - he rambled off a bunch of information as to why he needed it, even showed me a sample National Grid bill, and implied that it was something I HAD to do as a National Grid customer. He took my account number and switched me to Clearview Service without ever telling me what he was doing. It wasn't until I looked it up and realized that it is basically a scam. They are completely deceptive and I'm not sure how they are even in business.
I called Clearview right away and cancelled, and then called National Grid to confirm. If they come to your door, send them AWAY.
