A phone call from a Mr. Robert Evans, employed by James Stockman. He told me that I had won a New York Lottery that was drawn in Canada on Thanksgiving Day. The names and numbers had gotten mixed up and had just, 2 months after the fact, gotten straightened out. I was the third person on the list, and had won a cash award of $80,000. Before I could collect a lot of paperwork had to be done. And an ownership certificate had to filed. "The check was being held at the Customs office. A week later I was supposed to collect the check after having paid a fee for customs taxes on the check for 80,000 Next thing I knew, the check had a mistake in it , and it was really for 800,000. I owed another $40,000 in customs taxes. I ended up paying $8000, and he supposedly lent me $32,000 because I didn't have the $40,000. I have never received the check after being told it would be mailed the next day after my payment was made.
