I was contacted on 3/10/16 by a woman named Bernie who asked me if I heard of Amazon affiliate marketing? She asked me what my goals were and how much I would like to make. I told her if I could make enough to pay my school loans I would be happy. She said that would be no problem and she could set me up to make $3000-5000/mo. depending on how much time I put into it. I signed up for $395 Development Package. She said Jessica, their advertising Director would be calling me 24/48 hrs. I received no call. I called them and Jessica answered, not very nice, and scheduled me for Friday. Jeff Sharen called me to set up advertising. He said to get the most traffic he suggests a 6mo. campaign of 6,300 guaranteed targeted visitors. It would cost me $2000, but I will easily get that back in sales. No call again from Jessica. I started getting red flags. I did some research. I found two websites very similar with different names; www.olympicbusinessdevelopment.com. I emailed them on 3/21/16 requesting refund. On 3/28/16 they said they would refund my $395 but they promise they are not a scam. Talked me into investing the $2000. On 3/28 I paid them and signed the contract by echosign.com. The same day they emailed me to print out the invoices sign and email or fax back with a copy of my license and the front and back of my credit card I used for the transaction. On 4/5 they emailed me my store link; angelasbestdeals.com and my wordpress ad17406.bargainshop.biz/wp.admin. On 4/7, they emailed me a link to see my visitors http://www.customerstats.net/view.php?ID=4b0250793549726d5c1ea3906726ebfe, 4/14 I had a phone meeting with Nicole who emailed me blogs to post and set me up with freesubmission.com. 4/14, I emailed about blogs, but received no email or call back. 4/21 I had another phone call meeting with Nicole, explained I was getting traffic but no sales yet, that they will come. She will call me next week. I felt very rushed. I had questions, but she cut me short. 4/23, I emailed them questions about my website, no answer back. 4/25 I signed and mailed back to them the invoices I already esigned and copied and emailed with license. 4/28 I was supposed to receive a call for meeting, I waited an hour later before I called them to see if I had the time wrong time. No answer, sounded like someone picked up and hung up. Emailed them about not returning my calls or emails, no answer back. On 4/28, I emailed them for a refund of my $395 and $2000. 5/4 received a call from Jessica explaining changes were made to Amazon login and I will receive call from Nicole next Thursday. Asked her several concerns, but she could not answer. $ times she literally put me on hold without saying anything. Told me I made one sale, but I don’t think it was the truth. I went onto Amazon website to see if I could get in ans ran across an email from 4/27 stating; Upon review, we're unable to accept your application. Your site does not contain original content, rather it duplicates content already available on Amazon.com. I filed complaint with Online Business Bureau, BBB and Federal Trade Commission. OBB contacted ACE. I received a phone call from a lady from ACE asking why I reported them and that am I aware that by doing so it puts negative reviews out there. She promised me again that they were not a scam and asked me to remove the complaint. So I did. She scheduled me another meeting on 5/4 with Jessica. Jessica called, I asked questions, but she could not answer many. She scheduled me with Nicole on 5/12. Nicole still could not give me my login to Amazon to see my earnings. Meeting on 5/19 cancelled. I came across another email from Amazon on May 16th stating again Upon review, we're unable to accept your application. Your site does not contain original content, rather it duplicates content already available on Amazon.com. I emailed Amazon today and this was their response: Hello Angela,

This is Courtney from the Amazon Associates team. I hope you're having a great day!

As of Wednesday, April 27, 2016 11:44 AM (PDT), your Amazon Affiliate application was rejected because your site does not contain original content, rather it duplicates content already available on Amazon.com or another website. It appears as though you hired a company to host or build a website for you. As mentioned above, this site doesn't meet our criteria for acceptance into the Associates Program and your application has been rejected. Sites without original content do not generate meaningful traffic to Amazon.com and don’t add value to the customer’s experience. When researching the blog portion of your site, most posts are replicated on other websites.

After an application has been rejected it can't be reinstated. If your website has been further developed and now contains unique and original content, please submit a new application and we'll be happy to review it. Here's the URL for submitting a new application:

http://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join

Your original Associates ID is no longer active. If you have links on your website that include that ID, you'll want to update them to use your new Associates ID.

We hope to see you again soon.

We'd appreciate your feedback. Please use the links below to tell us about your experience today.

Best regards,
Courtney W.

So I did more research and found this from someone else...

Hello Ely. I joined ************** in Peoria, AZ back on Feb. 3, 2016. I paid $395.00 also. They told me the same thing as the person above, they are a 3rd party affiliate with Amazon. They finally talked me into paying $5,000.00 off my credit card. Which was very stupid on my part. I have received business cards, posters, magnets, and that is what the $5,000 was supposed to be for. Very expensive business cards. I have also in writing and verbal for my $5,000 back. I was told they can not do that. I have been ignored many times when I've called and left messages. Is there anything I can do to get my money back? My web site is: ****************** I have made a total of $18.45 in 3 months. Please help! Thank you very much! Debbie
