I accepted a trial offer from Vital Cleanse Complete on the 27/4/2016 after I saw it pop up on my Facebook page, I read the reviews and was interested as it appeared to be endorsed by Dr Oz. I understood it was a free trial only paying a small postage fee of $3au. I was automatically signed up for a second trial for another product and was charged the same postage fee for it that I was unaware of. Two days later whilst checking my account I discovered two more deductions for $9au each to the same company, the payments had been deducted without my knowledge or consent after which time I received two emails from vital cleanse billing me a second time for triple the postage originally outlined when I accepted the offer. This was a red flag moment for me so I did some research on the company and discovered hundreds of online complaints with people being charge ridiculous amounts of money on a monthly basis for a so called free trial without their knowledge, some had lost hundreds of dollars from various countries around the world. At this point I had only lost $18au and wasn't about to sit around and wait for the same thing to happen to me. I contacted my bank and cancelled my card immediately and then contacted the company to cancel my trial, please note I cancelled my card first incase they suspected I was onto them when I tried to cancel the trial and them starting to randomly deducting money. I went through an automated phone line to cancel and then phoned back to speak to someone to ensure the cancellation had taken place. I was hung up on the first time but persisted until I finally got someone to talk to me. The guy was polite but did and said everything he could to get me to resign. I told him that as I had only signed up for the product a few days prior I had not yet received the product but would be sending it straight back once received he told me I had 14 days to send it back to the USA or I would be charged $78USD, I calmly told him that it would be impossible to get it returned in that time frame as it was still in transit to me and it would take at least a few extra days for it to be received and that I wanted it noted that it was being returned and could they please extend the return period to give me time to mail it back. He told me that it was out of his hands !!!
I then asked about the unauthorized second postage deductions they had made on my account and he told me they were simply modest postage and handling, charges, I explained that I had already been charge their modest postage fee two days prior when I originally signed up !!! He then changed the subject giving me zero explaination and told me I could have the trial product for $5USA instead of $78USA with no
more to pay !!! More red flags !!! I said quite simply that this was a free trial than there shouldn't have been anything to pay and that I felt like I had been misled.
He politely cut the call short telling me to have a nice day !!!
I am so glad I didn't let this go and cancelled my card and my advise to anyone out there is to do the same immediately !!! Don't wait because after everything I've read about vital cleanse complete the only thing they will cleanse for you is your bank account. Research them first it only takes a minute and it will save you hundreds !!!
