I was notified by a representative of Shoreline name Michelle Brown, stating that I did an online application on a loan g or Shoreline in 2011. When I asked Ms. Brow what was the name of the bank she told me and she gave me the last 4 of the account number. I stated that I have never even had an account at this bank, and I needed to investigate this matter. She then proceeded to state it really did not matter because they had my social security number. I reached out to the bank, and they had no records of me or my social security number. I called MS Brown and stated what was told to me. I have only have had 3 accounts n my life. When I asked where the check was negotiated at, she would not tell me. I stated I think I am of victim if fraud and she was unconcerned. All they wanted was to try to make me pay $629 for a loan I did not apply for or need. Now I am going to have to go to court, which they stated if we did it was going to cost me 8k. How???? I have no clue what is going on, and how did I get involved. I never signed ant paper work, or received any.
