International boundaries

My bank here in Australia blocked my credit card after suspicious activity was detected. I have been vigilant and contacted my bank whenever I have travelled overseas so fortunately they were quick to place a block on my credit card when it showed activity in Indonesia, though not before they withdrew $1500 in two transactions.
To date I am waiting for a response and reimbursement from my bank. This occurred at the beginning of March 2016.
