Was doped by Crown Capital Management into buying a bunch of useless shares in Asia Global Energy back in late 2012.
Had not heard much from them in the past couple years until today.
The scam now is to target those that purchased the shares of Asia Global into selling the shares to some fictitious businessman in the USA in order for him to take a loss and keep his capital gains to a level where his tax bracket is reduced to a certain percentage….or something along those lines.
The catch where this time it cots you money is that this business man will purchase your shares for X and you buy his shares for Y (less then what he pays you for your shares) and you pay the difference to settle! Makes sense right! Settling will take 7-10 days or something but they will put it all in writing!
The guy that called me this time used the name of Charles Robertson and was very adamant he was a securities attorney sent by the regulators in the USA to help Crown Capital. The story kept changing and he contradicted himself after I started challenging him by asking for him to send me his CV and credentials.
Anyway be warned a new scam from Crown Capital Management is in play.
