I met "Kasey Bean" on Craiglist listing an apartment for rent. She provided a phone, email address and further details about the apartment.
In order to secure the apartment she sent over a lease and her bank account number asking for $500 deposit and $1500 for first month's rent.
This was transferred from my account to her account on 2/26, she kept in constant communication, providing a lease counter signed and confirmation code. On March 3rd she confirmed I would meet the property manager to exchange the keys.
That was the last communication I've had with this person, I never received the keys or moved into the apt. I've had no response to my phone calls, text and emails.
The posting has been revised and is back on Craiglist with the same photos for an apt that does not exist.
