Do not buy AKDY range hoods! We purchased one from Overstock.com, and it arrived defective. When contacted, AKDY would not repair or exchange their own product!
With some persistence, Overstock.com did take care of the issue; first they were going to pay for a repair, but no appliance repair business would touch AKDY products of any kind. When I told Overstock that, and with some pleading, they agreed to exchange the hood, and included a reimbursement for us to do the reinstall. I recommended to Overstock that they drop AKDY like a hot potato as a vendor. Also, a cheer for Chris S. at Overstock! He really came through.
