I am an elderly person who received a letter from Baycorp asking me to call regarding an urgent matter between 8:30am & 9:pm. Without thinking I rang immediately and after a lot of discussion with operator disclosed my birth date, only to be told that they had the wrong person. It was only after hanging up that I thought this could be a scam, and having checked today it looks as though I have been extremely stupid in handing over my birth date.
