I bought a new Honda Civic 2014 on July 26, 2014 at Diamond Honda dealership in Puente Hills, CA. I put down a $2,000 down payment and so far I have paid 17 monthly payments towards the car. I tried refinancing it but couldn't because my debt has accumulated so much. The monthly payment is $395.86. I met with the Sales Manager and re-negotiated the deal and they refused to issue me a refund and take back the car. I also refused to pay an additional $1,000 towards the down payment. The dealership threatened to sue me if I didn't complete the $3,000 down payment ($2,000 + $1,000) That is why I had to keep the car because I was worried this would go to court. The dealership rushed the car buying process and I have three witnesses that know exactly what happened: The dealership sold me a car and I had no driver's license, no car insurance and no job. They were aware before I signed the contract that I have a mental disability as well. They also thought nothing of it when I drove the car home. The dealership also requested that my friend sign a document so he could drive the car off the lot then, have me drive the car home. They bribed my friend to buy his own car there as well, and in return they offered to pay his credit card debt. I don't want the dealership meeting with me face to face, as I am disgusted to see any of them. I want this case resolved and all of my money back. I'm willing to return the car, as soon as possible. I am requesting to be contacted via email ONLY. The dealership stated they are in no position to issue a refund. Since they broke so many rules, took advantage of me and committed fraud to make a sale, I should have been refunded and the car returned.
