Met online. I left a 19 year job and cashed my retirement to live on. I told him I wanted to pay down my home. He said we are a team and we need to do what's best for both of us. He needed a new reliable truck for his lawn care business. I bought him a new truck, trailer, 0 turn lawnmower, commercial weed eater, and all the accessories to prosper his business so we have a solid future. As soon as I paid for all these items (which he insisted I pay cash) and sent all the titles to his address (behind my back). As soon as he got what he wanted, he became very verbally abusive. I told him we need to part ways and he can return the items I paid for and he refused and said they were his gifts from me. Had not received anything monetarily from him.
