I was online trying to watch various shows, and a screen from Safari came on saying I needed to close it down, but when I tried I couldn't and the screen came up again stating I was under viral attack. Suddenly a voice came on my computer and directed me to call 1-844-300-8828 to acquire a service rep from Apple. As they discussed with me what they would do to protect my computer, including :SECURES BANKING INFO
SECURES SOCIAL INFO
SECURES FINANCIAL INFO
SECURES IP ADDRESS
SECURES IDENTITY ( IDENTITY THEFT )
and clear out any virus out of system. I had to go onto another website to give them access to my computer and they did their work from there. Took a couple hours for the whole discussion and transaction and they guaranteed me they would be in contact regularly to see how my computer was holding up. They were very kindly and patient. I obviously am not very computer savoy, but I never would have known this might be fishy, if I hasn't spoke to a friend of mine. Hopefully the credit card company will fight on my behalf.
